Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference but not sure how?
Becoming a Trustee of a charity is a rewarding way to share your skills and to develop new ones. Rusthall Lodge Care Home celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year and is looking to recruit 2 or more committed and enthusiastic people to further strengthen its Board of trustees.
In particular we are looking for people with a nursing or care related background but applications would be welcome from anybody wishing to commit to this important role who feel their experience could help the Home.
Trustees are responsible for the good governance of the Home and for ensuring that the Home’s core purpose of caring for older people is carried out in a safe, responsive, caring and effective way, ensuring it is at all times, well-led. There is no need to have trustee experience to apply; only an interest in supporting older people to live and be cared for in the best way possible.
If you would like to use your skills and experience at Board level to help Rusthall Lodge continue to care for older people, we would like to hear from you.
As a Trustee you will be expected to attend a number of regular meetings a year plus an annual planning day.
Requests for further information and/or a Trustee Application Pack can be made to our HR Manager, Amanda Clark. If you would like to express your interest in this position, please send a covering letter along with your CV. Your CV will be considered by the current Board members and a response will be sent to you in writing.
The chance to make a real difference doesn’t come along very often because sometimes it’s not about “having” time, it’s about “making” time.
Please contact Amanda on 01892 556500 or email her on firstname.lastname@example.org
