FUNDING YOUR CARE
Rusthall Lodge are not affiliated with any financial product, nor are we qualified to offer financial advice.
However, we often find we are asked how to plan for future care needs. If you have concerns, our General Manager and Finance Manager are happy to talk them over with you. Whether you are currently residing in your own home considering your future, or already in a nursing home, you will have options open to you.
We recommend all persons discuss their financial situation with their family. For some people, talking with an independent financial adviser may help.
There are organisations and advisers specialising in planning for future care needs.
One organisation which can offer impartial advice is Age UK.
If you would like to research your options or seek advice, you may wish to visit http://www.payingforcare.org
PayingForCare is a not-for-profit website containing a wealth of impartial information on all aspects of long term care funding, from local authority support to other ways to pay.
Am I eligible for help paying care fees?
Determining whether you will receive state help or must self-fund your care is a complicated process that can leave you with many unanswered questions. Therefore, researching your options and/or getting some funding advice early on could provide you with peace of mind for the future.
For more information please come in and see us at the home where we will endeavour to point you towards sources of further information.
