Prior to admission, you and your relatives are invited to visit the Lodge and have a cup of tea or coffee, or join us for lunch, to meet the staff and discuss your requirements and any concerns. A pre-admission assessment will be carried out to ensure we can meet all needs.
The Fee Structure will be fully explained. These vary depending on the needs of the individual.
An assessment of needs and how they are to be met will be drawn up prior to admission. Relatives and residents will be involved in this process. The care plan will be reviewed monthly, or more frequently as and when needs change. Any changes made will be explained to residents and/or their relatives if consent is given, as appropriate.
GP support services are already in place at Rusthall Lodge through the GP Surgery at the top of the drive. We will discuss whether a resident’s own GP may be able to visit.
Although the bedrooms are all fully furnished and equipped, new residents are encouraged to bring with them if they wish, personal photos, pictures and ornaments to brighten their room and make it feel more like home. If there are favoured items of furniture from home, we will do our best to accommodate these.
