Rusthall Lodge is committed to running the Home in the best interests of the residents at all times. The Home has been established with a quality orientated approach to the business with a high degree of quality awareness developed through all levels of staff training and management. To this end a pro-active approach is taken to introduce quality systems that incorporate audits and feedback so that every part of the Home and its services can be evaluated to ensure improvements are continuous.
Each month, we carry out a number of quality audits which are then reviewed by our Compliance Committee. This greatly assists us in reducing the likelihood of issues rising again and allows us to continually monitor all our services.
Residents, relatives and staff surveys are carried out yearly. Meetings are held by Trustees, the Senior Management Team, qualified staff and also hold a weekly Heads of Department meeting.
Quality control in every department of a care home is important. It ensures we operate professionally and safely, putting our residents and our staff first.
